Good info just wish had more breeds. Having an index so you can find the breed you are looking for easier would be nice

Although informative, this book is difficult to navigate and shows only the basic dog breeds. I enjoyed learning more about my favorite breeds but the breed descriptions didn't start until I was about 40% of the way through the book. Overall, the book is very informative but is hard to navigate and fairly short.
This is a great book if you are in love with puppies or if you are looking for a puppy
My best friend is an Australian Kelpie -"Dusty". Quite demanding but very satisfying pooch. He comes under the working dog category, but unfortunately is not covered in this book. However the Border Collie which is included has many of the characteristics of the Australian Kelpie is included. I found this inclusion very helpful when developing my friendship with Dusty .
For someone wanting to acquire a dog, this little book is a nice easy informative read. It should help most people decide what sort of dog is right for them.

I feel this book covers much as other book . Enjoy the lay out of the book. Easy to read needs to have pictures that is one down fall.
